Fantastic experience. Easy to get an appointment. Friendly, flexible staff. Well equipped facility meant not having to run around chasing xrays..etc. Great service, pre and post, meant a great experience repairing my knee.
Highly recommend Dr. Paul Van Deventer. He explains conditions and discusses different treatment options thoroughly in terms I can understand. Takes time to answer my questions and provides follow-up as needed. Office staff is always efficient and courteous, especially his nurse. Office hours/scheduling are very flexible. Also, receiving phone messages confirming your appointment a few days in advance is a plus.
I have the utmost confidence in and respect for the practice of Dr. Paul VanDeventer. He has successfully brought me through both a knee replacement and, most recently, a hip replacement. I find his office staff to be competent and courteous: Sarah his nurse, who leads one into the process and follows you throughout, and Blake, the XRay tech, who operates flawlessly. I have never waited an exorbitant amount of time to get to see him! Hospital scheduling was done easily and efficiently. Perhaps one of Dr. VanDeventer's crowning achievements is his follow up with me-- always there to advise and guide. I would certainly recommend a visit to his office if you are in need of orthopedic assistance.
Horrible experience. I drove from slidell to this drs. for an apt at 215pm. I got there at 211pm. After I signed in I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour. with no one calling my name. At 305 pm I walked up to the receptionist and asked if I could reschedule because I had been sitting there for almost an hour! She asked my name then told me she has no idea i was sitting out there. And that because it was for a Workman's comp case I had to be there at 130pm. I told her no one told me that. Then she proceeds to tell me that since I got here at 211 there's no way he would have been able to see me anyway. So you're telling me you couldn't have looked at your clip board with my name on it and informed me of that an hour ago!??? Complete waste of my time and my afternoon. Never going back! This was on pinnacle parkway in Covington office btw.
