I've had to visit here many many times. Comfortable waiting area, plenty of space for patients, professional front desk attendants.
Listens well. Takes time w patient. Good surgeon.
I don't normally write reviews but this one is due. Every step of my visit from the receptionist to the nurse to doctor to blood work I was greeted with a kind smile. It's amazing when you can really tell that people love their job. I highly recommend Dr. Ellerbe and Vera Williams. I became not a client but an advocate after today's visit. I will be recommending them to friends and family.
I've attended Ochsner for years, and I've never had any problems with them until recently. Over the past month or so, no one has called to confirm appointments, I have not received mailers about my appointments, and they have not returned any of my phone calls. They are awfully quick to call you the second you miss an appointment, though. The staff does not care about anyone seen, other than themselves.
A great hospital. Very professional and kind staff. Treated me well anytime I went. Always helpful and takes most insurance. Getting well is easy here.
