Our packing team was incredible. They took great care in making sure everything was properly packed from our antiques to my children’s’ art projects. They treated our belongings as if they were their own. Our driver and his loading team did an awesome job of loading our furniture.They took great care in wrapping our furniture and making sure it would not be damaged in the move even our most fragile items.
Worst moving experience I've had. My "survey" to estimate the amount of packing materials and items I had was over 1000 pounds under and the team arrived without materials to pack my large TV or bed, because those were somehow not documented in the estimate but their surveyor. They were told to load my household items even without boxes just to drive to the storage warehouse but I refused both because I didn't want them to break AND it was raining. It took over 2 weeks for my items to get delivered after numerous delays and no communication to me about when they would arrive - I almost drove 7 hours to meet the movers on the day they were supposed to deliver but called and was told, "oh yeah, we probably should have told you it isn't going out yet", when I finally did receive my items to my new resid ce, I received 3 broken tables/desks that had been loaded intact but pulled apparent somewhere in the storage process along with numerous crushed boxes. I then had an amazing experience with another company who competed my local move from a storage unit to my new house. There are much better moving companies and
Some people will think I am writing this because everything was perfect with our move. It wasn’t. We did have a few minor glitches and a few items did break. But all in all we had a very pleasant moving experience and would highly recommend Northlake Moving and Storage to others.

From the initial visit to the final follow-up phone call, we have been pleased with everyone at this company. Our sales consultant was informative in helping us understand the options we could choose. She was quick to respond to a question and shared moving tips with us.
