Don't be a young person and walk into this place. They will bypass you to help everybody they can. Nobody asks for your help until you're ready to walk out the door. Horrible experience. I have spent thousands in this place. But I get ignored until I'm ready to go.

I went in to get new hiking shoes and was very impressed by their knowledge and customer service. I tried on several pairs and all.my questions were answered in detail. After I picked out my shoes, I went around the store with the manager asking about, and trying on, all the gear I intend to purchase down the road (they were very patient). No where else on the Northshore sells this kind of specialized backpacking gear or provided this kind of quality service. Awesome experience.
