I went here a couple months ago with a sharp pain in my chest, it hurt so bad that I couldn't breath and it hurt.. I waited forever for the doctor and when he came in he said "I'm going to prescribe you an inhaler for your problem take 4 puffs" I later find out from other doctors that because of my weight (102) and my age (14) THAT 4 PUFFS WAS THE ADULT DOSAGE!!! IT MAKES SINCE BECAUSE AFTER THIS STUPID DOCTOR PRESCRIBE ME THE MEDICINE I FELT WORSE.. it made my heart beat very fast and I got panic attacks because I was scared.. worst hospital ever!!! Also the nurses here is such garbage.. they are rude and not helpful at all.. I suggest going to Lake View they are super fast and beyond nice, it's like they are angles.. their attitude is extremely comforting..
We are extremely pleased with St Tammany hospital. They removed my gallbladder in 2015 and my wife's gallbladder in 2017. The nursing staff was super friendly. The doctors were impressive. The hospital was always super clean. Highly recommend St Tammany hospital.
This place has gone down hill! They used to be fast and efficient now you wait for hours even though the waiting room Is basically empty. Go to lake view.
Usually I prefer this hospital over all the others in the area. Today just walking in was rough. Information (two ladies) had to ask me my name a handful of times. I mean don't ask if you aren't ready to listen
I am currently in the ER right now and I've been here for 2 1/2 hours I have not seen a doctor. They have not run test but I'm in pain. I have a mess on my stomach and I'm waiting to be seen.. and it is horrible. I would not recommend st Tammany to ANYONE HURT SICK IN PAIN OR DYING DRIVE PAST IT!!!!!! I'm about to tell them to release me! and be on my way to another hospital because this is actually the second time this is happened in the past year. Most of the staff is rude... I came here about six months back, same thing happened. I had to wait for hours until the doctor finally came to see me and told me that I was constipated!?!?!?! But I came in with flu symptoms and they tell me I was constipated I truly believe they diagnosed me wrong...to wait a long time only to diagnose wrong!?!?! and no medication they don't treat you for pain or conditions or anything not accommodating..... read the reviews alll of us can't be liars!!!!!! To be hurting and possibly have a cancerous mass and they just make you wait forever and don't diagnose your symptoms correctly... the little teeny boopers bouncing around laughing and jiggling calling their selfies nurses they aren't helping at all... and at this point I wouldn't recommend them To my worse enemy. Why get a new building and upgrade to staff it with people that can't make your patients feel BETTER?!?! This is ridiculous... but if I complain I'll look like the angry black person.... smh NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN, AND IM SENDING A LETTER.......OH MY GOD!!
